Slow-Cooked Beef Short Ribs

These melt-in-your-mouth beef short ribs are slow-cooked to perfection in a rich, flavorful broth.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1kg beef short ribs

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • 1 cup red wine

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

  • 2 sprigs rosemary

  • Salt and pepper to taste

METHOD

  1. Season beef short ribs with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot pan.

  2. Add onion and garlic to the pan and cook until softened.

  3. Transfer ribs and veggies to a slow cooker. Add broth, wine, tomato paste, and rosemary.

  4. Cook on low for 4 hours or until tender.
