This cherished traditional Greek gyro recipe enhances the stunning free-range lamb, chicken, and pork.
We expertly thread the meat onto a rod and place it over hot coals for about four hours, allowing us to slice off pieces of pure bliss.
To guarantee maximum flavor, the meat is marinated for 24 hours prior to cooking.
Our secret tomato-based recipe keeps the meat moist and juicy throughout the entire process.

SPIT HIRE
Rod, motor and spit are included in the hire price.
Coals and starters are not included.
Rental spits are checked for quality before pickup, and any issues should be reported immediately.
Cook on a dry, stable surface (preferably concrete) and carve the meat while it cooks for best results.
Ensure all spits are cleared of coal and ash upon return.
GYRO MEAT ORDER & THREADING
You can select your spit meat from pork (neck), lamb (shoulder), or chicken (thighs and Maryland fillets). When ordering, specify the quantity, desired ratio, and threading pattern for the meat.
Gyro is available in bags for self-threading or we can assist with threading onto your rod or rented spit, free of charge. We do not thread meat during Christmas week.
A generous marinade is included; request extra when ordering if required.
For overnight storage, keep the rod in a cool place, ideally in a bathtub with ice.
We can answer general cooking questions by phone during business hours, but do not provide on-site tutorials unless the machine is faulty.
