Mince & Veggie Cottage Pie

This comforting cottage pie is loaded with savory minced beef and vegetables, topped with creamy mashed potatoes.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500g premium beef mince

  • 2 carrots, diced

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes

  • 1 cup beef broth

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • Salt and pepper to taste

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Cook minced beef in a pan until browned. Add carrots, onion, and tomato paste. Cook for 5 minutes.

  3. Add broth and cook until thickened.

  4. Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish, top with mashed potatoes.

  5. Bake for 15 minutes, until golden.
