Chicken Parmesan

Crispy, golden chicken cutlets smothered in marinara and melted mozzarella—this chicken parmesan is a family favourite.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 chicken breasts

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg, beaten

  • 1 cup marinara sauce

  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

METHOD

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

  2. Dip chicken breasts in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and brown chicken breasts for 2 minutes on each side.

  4. Place chicken in a baking dish, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella. Bake for 20 minutes until cheese is melted.
